Check Before You Book

Some neighborhoods and condos prohibit golf cart rentals.

Check with your property manager to ensure your neighborhood allows carts before placing your reservation.

Don’t assume you can rent because you’ve seen carts there in the past. Many HOAs allow property owners to have carts but don’t allow renters to rent them.

If you rent a cart that you’re unable to use due to HOA restrictions, the cancellation policy

Carts are prohibited in the following places:

  • Alys Beach

  • Amalfi - Miramar Beach (Gas only. No outlets.)

  • Beach House Condos - Miramar Beach

  • Camp Gulf (Allows carts but only ELECTRIC carts)

  • Carillon Beach

  • Chateau La Mer - Destin (Allows carts but only GAS carts)

  • Destiny By The Sea - Destin

  • Destin Pointe - Destin

  • Dolphin Point - Destin

  • Edgewater - Miramar Beach

  • Fort Walton (not in our coverage area)

  • Fort Walton Beach (not in our coverage area)

  • Grand Caribbean - Destin - Gas Only (no outlets)

  • Grand Key Loop - Destin

  • Gulf Trace - Grayton Beach

  • Gulfview 2 Condos - Miramar Beach (Note: Gulfview 1 does allow carts)

  • Hidden Dunes - Miramar Beach

  • LaQuinta - Miramar Beach (no place to charge them)

  • MainSail Resort - Miramar Beach

  • Maravilla - Destin

  • Miramar Beach Villas

  • Old Florida Beach - Santa Rosa Beach

  • Pelican Beach Resort

  • Pensacola (not in our coverage area)

  • Peridido Key (not in our coverage area)

  • Prominence 30A

  • Rosemary Beach - Santa Rosa Beach

  • Rue Caribe in Miramar Beach (allows carts but land-locked and cannot leave neighborhood on a cart)

  • Sandpiper Cove (gas carts only due to outlet scarcity)

  • Sandprints Neighborhood in Miramar Beach

  • SunDestin - Destin

  • Surfside in Miramar Beach (Carts are allowed ONLY if it’s your only transportation on site and cart must be tagged)

  • Topsl (located inside Sandestin) - Miramar Beach

  • Villages of Crystal Beach (Tahitian Way) - Destin

  • Villages at Sunset Beach - Santa Rosa Beach

  • WaterSound (Behind the gates only)

    • But if your rental home contains WaterSound but it’s not behind the gates, you’re allowed to rent

  • WaterColor - Santa Rosa Beach (HOA only allows carts from Electric Cart Company due to exclusive contract)

Carts are Not Allowed on the main highway called Emerald Coast Parkway / Business 98
