What happens if I don't buy RCP and the cart is damaged?

When do I need to purchase RCP by?

Will my personal auto insurance cover a rental golf cart?

Is RCP required?
No, RCP is optional. But without it, you accept full personal financial liability for any and all damage to the cart during your rental, regardless of who caused it.
Does each driver need their own RCP?
Yes. RCP is non-transferable. Every driver who intends to operate the cart and wants coverage must purchase their own policy at $29.50 per day. Coverage cannot be shared between drivers.
How much does RCP cost for a full vacation rental?
$29.50 per driver per day. A 3-day rental is $88.50 per driver. A 5-day rental is $147.50. A 7-day rental is $206.50. Coverage is up to $20,000 with a $250 deductible for the full rental period.
